Common Actions Against Poverty (CAAP) is a local Albanian non-governmental organization that aims to reduce poverty and exclusion of the most marginalized children, youth and parents through micro-entrepreneurship, vocational and life skills training, employment opportunities and economic empowerment.

CAAP was established with the support of Terre des hommes, a Swiss child rights organization, to take over and further develop the income generation activities that Terre des hommes Albania successfully implemented for two and a half years and to broaden the scope of its mission for all Albanian children, youth and parents in need.

EMBROIDERY ASSOCIATION BRINGS EMPOWERMENT AND ACTION
Not only does the association help the women develop socially, but it also contributes to intellectual and vocational growth.
Working with the Embroidery Association honors my role as a woman and as a member of society, contributing to the home and being a part of the economy.

Terre des hommes, a Swiss child rights organization, and in partnership with Opportunity Albania, a micro-credit institution, CAAP helped Bukurije in March 2009 with a grant and a loan to start her own income generation activity of chicken trade.

CAAP BRINGS EMPLOYMENTS TO VULNERABLE YOUTH
Edi lost his previous job delivering pharmaceutical products on a motorcycle in October 2008. He was coached by Bill on job searching. A good opportunity came when CAAP called Bill to refer candidates from Fushe Kruje to apply for Albanian ID card operators.
